Harley-Davidson produced and launched the first Hydra-Glide model with telescopic front suspension and 1212 cubic centimeter Panhead powertrain system in 1949.
In order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the highly acclaimed Hydra-Glide, it was re-released under the name 2024 Hydra-Glide Revival, this time in limited quantities. This special motorcycle revives the iconic design of the Panhead era.
Here are some details of this special motorcycle:
Color Scheme: The famous “slash” two-tone paint scheme of the 1956 models is reintroduced in Redline Red and Birch White.
Engine: The 1212 cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine was a marvel at that time. This engine has been refreshed today with the Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine, offering contemporary performance and that classic Harley-Davidson look, sound and feel.
Cruise Control: Cruise control was not available on the original Hydra-Glide motorcycle, but it may be considered a good development by some Harley enthusiast riders.
Screamin' Eagle™ High-Flow Air Purifier: Harley enthusiasts know that "letting the engine breathe" is very important. Screamin' Eagle High Flow Air Cleaner is included as standard on the Hydra-Glide Revival motorcycle.
Brake: While the braking duties are handled by a 300mm disc at the front and a 292mm disc at the rear, the dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) offers a high level of safety.
Seat and Saddlebags: Inspired by the 1956 FLH motorcycle, the single seat and panniers are adorned with vibrantly colored badges and fringe.
Two-Tone Windshield: The Hydra-Glide Revival motorcycle's removable, two-tone windshield reflects the color harmony of that period with its Redline Red color.
Limited Edition: In this series, limited to 1,750 motorcycles, each motorcycle has a serial numbered "Hydra-Glide Revival" emblem on the handlebar riser cover and an "Icons Motorcycle Collection" drawing on the rear fender.
Limited to only 1750 units, the US price of the 2024 Harley Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival is USD $24,999.
